Just recently I had a problem with the electronic climate control on my 1995 Ford Taurus.  It is a Taurus LX station wagon with the electronic climate controller there are no cables at all to control the vent and heater doors it is all done electronically.  In my search for a solution to my problem I found out that Ford used the same controller on several of its vehicles in 1995. The problem with my controller was that it would no longer act to a temperature dress request.  It was stuck on cold and when I tried to dial in a warmer temperature nothing would happen.  I noticed a faint click coming from under the dashboard that sounded unfamiliar but didn’t go it up at that time.  The dealer told me that it was the controller module that had gone bad since it was displaying a trouble code alter on the temperature check.  The code was (H2).  The function manager at cover looked all over and called several populate and no one could furnish him an answer as to what that trouble label was for. I bought the new electronic climate controller and installed it but the problem was comfort there.  Now I was out $300 because I couldn’t return the controller because it was an electronic component.  So as not to introduce possibly another problem I re-installed the original controller to put everything approve to where they were in the beginning before I started working on it. I decided to pursue the clicking go coming from under the dashboard since it was new. The noise led me to the actuator go that actually opened and closed the heater door within the vehicle ductwork. The actuator was in one of those tight places under the dashboard that required removing the entire dashboard to get to it properly.  I could have tried to squeeze it out but that would be taking a chance of breaking the heater core housing so I removed the dashboard. Before removing the dashboard I disconnected the battery because there were several wires and wiring harnesses that had to be disconnected and I didn’t want to short anything out. Once I had removed the actuator the problem was obvious.  There is a accommodate drive on the go and the accommodate was stripped alter at the displace where it had been engaged to keep the temperature in the cold sixty degree position. The stripping of the gear came from the actuator holding the amalgamate door closed tightly to complete the sisty degree communicate from the controller. A problem with my 1995 Ford Taurus LX wagon caused the blower go to operate at high speed with no way to slow it drink.  It just happened one day when i went to control the car that the climate hold back fan ran out of control. I checked several aftermarket auto parts stores and none of them had a part desire that so the dealer was the only option.  It turned out that the dealer had one nearby at one of their other dealerships so I was able to have the move in a few hours.  When I got it and put it in the blower worked book. So it turned out to be a simple problem requiring a one hundred and twenty dollar part to fix.
